Julie Nordstrom

Member, Stanford University Department of Health Policy Advisory Board; Member, Fred Hutch Cancer Center Board; Chair, Head Start Governance Board, Save the Children

Julie Nordstrom is a community leader and advocate for health and child development, with extensive experience in board governance and philanthropy. She serves as a member of the Stanford University Department of Health Policy Advisory Board, advising on strategic initiatives to advance health policy innovation and research. She is a member of the Fred Hutch Cancer Center Board and chairs the Patient Quality and Safety Committee. Additionally, Julie is Chair of the Head Start Governance Board of Save the Children, working in six states in rural America to provide early child development and learning.

Previously, Julie was a US Trustee of Save the Children, Chair of the UW Medicine Board and the UW Medical Center Board, and Founding Co-Chair of the UW Department of Global Health Leadership Council.  

A former practicing attorney at Stafford, Frey, Cooper and Stewart, Julie holds a JD from Seattle University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington. She is a graduate of Stanford University’s Distinguished Careers Institute. Julie has been recognized as a Puget Sound Business Journal Woman of Influence and received the Seattle Reign FC Legend Award for her community contributions.
